Shift Dress Anyone?

I know shift dresses are everyone’s favourites..They are comfortable, can be worn anytime, and are made for every body type:):)

So, in this post, you see one shift dress and two looks!

I have these two shift dresses from New Look..Both of them are print dresses and are exactly the same style, but differ in colour(I know what you’re thinking, but I do that sometimes!). While one is a more subtle with hues of browns and white, the other one is a bright orange and honestly, I like both:):)

So, the first one, that is, the orange one is what I wore to a casual dinner at a friend’s.

The whole look was quite casual and the focus was again on comfort. I wore an orange lipper, and paired the dress with my new buy- these quirky slippers with owl print (bought from a local facebook vendor) and my old possession (;)), this chunky orangie necklace.

The next look that I have with this shift dress is a work look, a bit different from the one above. This was exactly the next day and I had a busy day at work with meetings and deadlines. I wanted a semi formal comfortable look and I decided tow ear this:

You would notice that this one is a different colour but THE SAME PRINT;) Here, I tied my hair into a ponytail and put on my stilettos.

I topped it up with my Jennyfer Jacket, seen here and I carried my matching Tory Burch bag.

Hi! I am a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer managing my own small practice and working with some fairly big businesses in UAE. In June 2015, I decided to start my blog and that’s when “Katz and Kurlz” was born.

I researched and designed my own website initially (and later with some professional help), struggled to use Instagram, learning from all the beautiful existing bloggers, taking inspiration from their posts, I finally managed to come from a 100 odd followers to about 90K+ as of today. My followers are of all ages and demographics, but among them, I have a lot of young men, women and mothers.

I find blogging therapeutic and relaxing and I see it as my first step towards all those dreams and milestones that I have planned. In a world full of “only magazine glossy” images featuring on blogs, I believe in sharing everyday snippets and glimpses from my life.

Primarily a fashion and beauty blogger, I have worked with some prominent makeup brands. Apart from fashion and beauty, I have also worked with various food and beverage brands, have also covered mother and child events, services and products.

I also manage a magazine htpp://www.salaamlife.com/ where me and my fellow muddleheads share what is close to our heart!
