MIX N’ MATCH!

How many times have we all looked at our closet and wondered we have absolutely nothing to wear! At least I’m guilty of doing that more than often.

But if you come to think of it, the question has a very simple answer- “mix and match”! Seriously? My answer would be yes, yes, YES!!

Once you begin to do this, you’d be surprised how easy it is to change an existing look by just changing one or two things-sometimes your bag or perhaps your shoes! Here I show you how you can wear one same skirt for three different occasionsJJ Tomorrow is an extra special day, as I’m going to be taking a day off from work and I have the whole day planned. First, I will go for a coffee morning with my friends, then I have to head to a mall for some shopping and finally, I will go for a girlie night out in the evening. Usually, I’m not so well planned, but since it is going to be a long day, I thought a little bit of early planning won’t harm. So, here we go!

1) Time to grab a cup of Coffee:

For all the three looks, I have one thing in common- My Blue Jaquard Flared mid-length skirt from H&M and for this first look of the day, I have chosen my cropped peasant top in pale pink shade, paired of course with the skirt and black pumps. For jewellery/accessory, I plan to wear my simple hoop ear-rings. The look is fairly simple, yet I feel this is very elegant and fits perfectly with girlie gossip:).

2) Who’s up for some shopping;)

So, next would be my favourite part of the day- Shopping!! For this, since I would be walking through the mall, I feel it would be better to keep it comfortable and, hence, I ditched my pumps for my flat ethnic slippers and I changed into my fav white tee. I also tied my hair for more comfort and to add some colour, I threw in a colourful scarf and I’m ready to go!

3) Let’s rock the Party!

For the final part of the day, I plan to just change the top again. I would be wearing a sequined black crop, paired with the same skirt, my valentine pumps and chunky danglers. Last, but not the least- a flashy clutch to top it all.

Hi! I am a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer managing my own small practice and working with some fairly big businesses in UAE. In June 2015, I decided to start my blog and that’s when “Katz and Kurlz” was born.

I researched and designed my own website initially (and later with some professional help), struggled to use Instagram, learning from all the beautiful existing bloggers, taking inspiration from their posts, I finally managed to come from a 100 odd followers to about 90K+ as of today. My followers are of all ages and demographics, but among them, I have a lot of young men, women and mothers.

I find blogging therapeutic and relaxing and I see it as my first step towards all those dreams and milestones that I have planned. In a world full of “only magazine glossy” images featuring on blogs, I believe in sharing everyday snippets and glimpses from my life.

Primarily a fashion and beauty blogger, I have worked with some prominent makeup brands. Apart from fashion and beauty, I have also worked with various food and beverage brands, have also covered mother and child events, services and products.

I also manage a magazine htpp://www.salaamlife.com/ where me and my fellow muddleheads share what is close to our heart!
