We recently had a 4 day long weekend for Eid Celebrations in the country and I thought this would be a good time to take out little boy for some fun filled activities. My husband tired to fit in some short getaways, but I wanted to be in the city and enjoy the celebrations here. So, we decided that we will start our holiday from Tuesday Evening (wednesday being the first day of holiday), and the plan was:
- Tuesday Evening- Ski Dubai;
- Wednesday – Breakfast and Go Karting;
- Thursday – Breakfast and Little Explorers and Jam Jar;
- Friday- Water Park.
However, no matter what and how you plan, things go their own way. Monday was extremely windy and we kinda had a sandstorm, our little boy caught some allergies and we had to cancel Tuesday evening Ski Dubai. So, Wednesday we stated off with breakfast at Mo’s (Citywalk). I had heard a lot about the place and we thought there could be no better time to try it.
Thats us, all excited to go for our holiday breakfast! A closer look at what I wore:

This Bold Boho printed dress is one of my recent buys from H&M. Because there was going to be a lot of walking, and more so because I like it ;);) I wore my bright pink sneakers from Jennyfer.
And this is the little one:

And our breakfast:):)

After finishing the breakfast we drove straight to the karting zone only to discover that only 7 year olds and above are allowed to kart:( I am sure I did my homework, but I don’t know how I missed this point, which led to a river of tears and tantrums.
To stop that we then decided to just head to a gaming parlour and splurge all the tickets that we had won to get toys!

At least, he was excited as he got four toys, in exchange for his tickets:):)

And since we still had time, my husband decided to get a haircut for the two of them. I wish I could post the conversation that the little boy was having with his hairdresser..I was enjoying listening to all the school, class teacher, math, English, Ski Dubai, infection, allergy details that Anay was giving to the hairdresser:D

I think it was enough for one day. I was already tired and Anay was still excited, but luckily he agreed to go back home and watch a movie.
I’ll soon be posting day 2 details. Do let me know what did you do for your holiday!
Love,
Katz:):)
