Practising law can be really “black and white” sometimes, literally! And thats why perhaps, whenever shopping for new pieces, I inevitably end up picking up the brightest shades:):)

This is what I chose for a hectic Thursday (yeah, for us its the last day before we begin the weekend) at work.

(Please ignore the strange expression, I really need to get “posing for a photo trained”) I really wanted a colour pop dose that day, as the whole week had been really boring at work and because we were going to hit the weekend that night!!!!

And I thought, this green crepe/polyster top and the hot pink blazer looked great with my dark blue skinnies (what do you think!) This is a Jennyfer blazer, which I picked up during one of their hot sales. you can find similar blazers here.

I tied my hair in a loose side braid and to accessorise the look, I chose this Massimo Dutti necklace, seen in one of my posts here. I just wore my regular everyday Dior wristwatch and kept it easy with flat nude pumps.

IMG_4300The whole look is not exactly formal, but guess you must have realised by now that I do not stick to the corporate dressing “codes”. Do tell me what do you think about this semi casual/ semi formal work outfit:):)

See you soon

Karteekka Tyaggi

Hi! I am a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer managing my own small practice and working with some fairly big businesses in UAE. In June 2015, I decided to start my blog and that’s when “Katz and Kurlz” was born.

I researched and designed my own website initially (and later with some professional help), struggled to use Instagram, learning from all the beautiful existing bloggers, taking inspiration from their posts, I finally managed to come from a 100 odd followers to about 90K+ as of today. My followers are of all ages and demographics, but among them, I have a lot of young men, women and mothers.

I find blogging therapeutic and relaxing and I see it as my first step towards all those dreams and milestones that I have planned. In a world full of “only magazine glossy” images featuring on blogs, I believe in sharing everyday snippets and glimpses from my life.

Primarily a fashion and beauty blogger, I have worked with some prominent makeup brands. Apart from fashion and beauty, I have also worked with various food and beverage brands, have also covered mother and child events, services and products.

I also manage a magazine htpp:// where me and my fellow muddleheads share what is close to our heart!
