More Black and White

Somehow, Since I started practicing as a lawyer it has been difficult for me to come out this vicious circle of black and white;)

And here I am with another black and white work attire! This is not too formal and one can perhaps try something like this on a day when there are not too many meetings. Although, as I have told you many a time, I am not caught in the web of “too formal” dress code and I wear whats presentable, comfortable and gives me confidence to survive a tough day at work.

So, this one is a combo of a Massimo Dutti white blouse and  H&M Trousers.

I somehow really love the ruffled front of this blouse, which I have again accessorised with my favourite Massimo Dutti neckpiece. I’m also in love with the sleeves as they fall in between sleeveless and short sleeves. The sleeves are actually an extension of the side ruffles or should I say the sleeves extend into the side ruffles and on the shoulders, they have a slit in between, which sometimes make the blouse look like a sleeveless one.

Ok, btw, if you failed to notice, Ive got these side bangs, yess!!! I used to have them years back and tried maintaining them again around last diwali, but they grew pretty fast. I really wanted them again and I asked my lovely hairdresser Tina to just trim the front into bangs. Do let me know if they suit my face:):)

I wore a pair of black heels and my dearest Dior!

And the last Selfie!

Hope you like this look:):)

Karteekka Tyaggi

Hi! I am a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer managing my own small practice and working with some fairly big businesses in UAE. In June 2015, I decided to start my blog and that’s when “Katz and Kurlz” was born.

I researched and designed my own website initially (and later with some professional help), struggled to use Instagram, learning from all the beautiful existing bloggers, taking inspiration from their posts, I finally managed to come from a 100 odd followers to about 90K+ as of today. My followers are of all ages and demographics, but among them, I have a lot of young men, women and mothers.

I find blogging therapeutic and relaxing and I see it as my first step towards all those dreams and milestones that I have planned. In a world full of “only magazine glossy” images featuring on blogs, I believe in sharing everyday snippets and glimpses from my life.

Primarily a fashion and beauty blogger, I have worked with some prominent makeup brands. Apart from fashion and beauty, I have also worked with various food and beverage brands, have also covered mother and child events, services and products.

I also manage a magazine htpp:// where me and my fellow muddleheads share what is close to our heart!
