The Coffee Project

If you are in Lausanne and looking for some freshly brewed coffee, then look no further than The Coffee Project. Here's what the newly opened coffee shop has to offer!

SUSHI EXPRESS CAFE – THE LITTLE NEIGHBOURHOOD EATERY

On the nights when one just wants to take a walk in the Neighbour hood and stop by the lake to have a light delicious dinner… sounds surreal? That’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers! Nestled in Cluster R is this small eatery serving yummy sushi at a very affordable price! We had the privilege of trying the place about a month back amd it was a fairly good experience for the three of us (my husband and little one as well:)).

ELEKTA SINGLE COFFEE MAKER

When it comes to coffee, I can have it anytime and yes, I can say I am addicted to tea and coffee. and because of my addiction, I have hoarded so many useless (sometimes bulky) devices for making a good cuppa. I was still looking for something simple, which can fit into my kitchen snugly and is easy to move for cleaning. And I found something exactly like that at Elekta.

CARNIVAL BY TRESIND

Carnival by Tresind, actually stands true to its name. Its a carnival of great food, drinks and beautiful ambience. Nestled in the commercial hub of Dubai, it is the second restaurant and another home grown concept introduced by Mr. Bhupender Nath and Mrs. Sakshi Nath. Their first restaurant, “Tresind” needs no introduction and is one of the best “Indian” restaurants in the city.

MITTS & TRAYS

If you have not yet visited the new wing of City Walk, then you are missing out on loads of things and if you haven’t visited Mitts & Trays yet, then you are certainly missing out great food, great hospitality and of course great ambience!

SOY- THE ORIENTAL HAVEN

Oriental Food has always been one of my favourite cuisines and one of the places that we so often go to is “Soy”. We absolutely adore this place and we are one of those frequent visitors, who think about 10 places, but in the end always choose their regular favourite!

MINT LEAF! AHA!

When it comes to Indian food, (of course India is huge! so, lets just stick to the North Indian Food), we generally see two three classes of restaurants- Mughlai, Chaat Corners and more mughlai;). Most of these restaurants have same decor, same papad pr poppadum or cracker starters served with chutneys and pickles and of course, not to miss the instrumental indian film music! And then we also have the British indian restaurants serving British style Indian curries.

TOTALLY “PUNJABI BY NATURE”!

Recently, I had the pleasure of sampling (read “devouring”) the sumptuous punjabi food served by “Punjabi by Nature”. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Oud Metha neighbourhood, right opposite the Lamcy Plaza shopping centre and is truly a haven for Punjabi Food Lovers, aka me and my husband! As soon as we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly staff and we were directed to a table reserved for us.
